Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience started at the age of 14. She began training in kickboxing boxing wrestling, BJJ, and other sports before making her debut as an amateur at the age of 18 in WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd took advantage of this win and continued her three-fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round of all fights. Ladd returned to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen took on Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen and beat her in a unanimous decision to put an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd was able to bounce back to defeat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen became a professional in 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11 saw her take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score one of the fight's TKOs in the initial round. Invicta 16 saw Aspen move to the weight class of Bantamweight following her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen made use of her superlative wrestling skills to take down McGill and ended her fight via third-round TKO(elbows and punches). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) in which Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen defeated Hoy before putting her down in the second round via TKO. It was Invicta's FC 21 that she fought her last event for the company. She beat Sijaraebanks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut was on UFC Fight Night 118 in which she was up against Lina Lansberg. She defeated Lina by a ground and pound victory in the second round. She continued to dominate and scored an impressive win at the end of her fight against Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd defeated Evinger within the first minute and received a bonus to commemorate her performance of the night. Sijara Eubanks, a member of Invicta FC, was her opponent in a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's first major match. Both fighters put up an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and both fighters getting an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd in 16 seconds and ended her losing streak.
