Many believe that Anne turned down the part of Laurie Strode for John Carpenter's Halloween in 1978. Jaime Lee Curtis was chosen to play the role. Carpenter stated that Anne was his initial option for the role, however she turned down the role. Anne can't recall John Carpenter having contacted her and offering the position. It's possible that one of her agents rejected it because of her, but she didn't tell her. Glen Larson initially selected her to play Battlestar Galactica in 1978. He wrote a rough script. The role was initially rejected since the character wasn't strong. Glen was able to write a stronger part with Sheba. The Living Legend's initial 25-page script was read to her and she immediately agreed. The show lasted for just one season. She appeared in Joyride in a film from 1977 with Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine (son Desi Arnaz Jr. Lucille and Lucille) and alongside Robert Carradine. In 1987 she appeared alongside Michael Moriarty and The Dark Tower.
