Melissa Suzanne George from Australia is an actress, model and inventor. Melissa George started out her modeling career as a model and actor in Australia, but eventually moved to Hollywood. A native of the city of Perth George was initially interested by dancing and artful roller skating. The year 1992 was the time she received the Western Australia Teenage Model Of The Year award to honor her modeling career. She made her screen debut that year with an episode from Seven Network s soap opera Home and Away . Her first big screen appearance was on Dark City, a mystery thriller. She then played various supporting roles on projects such as Alias The Limey or Down with Love. In 2005, she made her first major Hollywood appearance on The Amityville Horror remake. Her popularity in American films is testimony to her success. Being an entrepreneur George is introducing her own innovation Style Snaps into the market.
