Dennings was a lover of Nick Zano her "2 Broke Girls' co-star from 2011 to 2014. The couple began to date Josh Groban shortly after they broke up. They were together until the year 2016. Dennings first met Andrew W.K., a musician in the early years of 2021. Soon, the couple began getting together. They announced their commitment to each other in May 2021. Dennings, a musician fan from 2014, is Dennings' first-love. Although Dennings was Jewish, she has stated she feels more connected to the religion on an ethnic or cultural level, and she doesn't make religion an important part of her lifestyle. Some of interests include painting, reading, and gardening. At one point in her life she planned to go to an art college, however it was ruined after her entire portfolio was destroyed through an inundation.
