The actress can also be seen in Tyler Perry's hit movie, Why Did I Get Married? along with Perry and Janet Jackson, as well as the upcoming indie film Frozen Peas and Born Guilty. Other credits in her filmography include The 636, for which she won her the title of Best Actress at the 2014. NYLA International Film Festival, Shattered!, Never Die Alone, and American Adobo. Cum Laude awarded Keesha a B.F.A. Keesha began her journey on stage after graduating from the Cum Laude Conservatory with the B.F.A. Keesha was a part of the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Other theatrical performances are Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Keesha performed alongside playwright August Wilson himself. Keesha has also directed a number of shows of "Lethal Weapon", Are We There Yet?, as well as the shorts One Day, Lillian, and Half Off. Keesha created Clean, The Brit & Broken Doll.
